11th AMR Anatomic Pathology Slide Seminar

The 11th Arkadi M. Rywlin (AMR) Slide Seminar in Anatomic Pathology will be held in Porto, Portugal on 1-3 June 2020.

The AMR International Pathology Slide Seminar Club is a non-profit organization created in 1991 to promote and advance the exchange of ideas among academic and clinical pathologists throughout the world in a spirit of cooperation and collegiality.

The format of the symposium will be that of an extended slide seminar.

A total of 87 selected cases will be presented and discussed by the faculty. A set of glass slides from the cases will be distributed (to the first 150 registered participants), and a syllabus will be given to all participants with a discussion of the cases.

Previously to the meeting, cases will also be available on a digital platform - arkadi.slideseminar.org

Participants are encouraged to go through the digital slides and submit their diagnoses. There will be a prize (Modern Surgical Pathology volumes) for the participant with the largest number of correct diagnoses.

The symposium will focus mainly on diagnostic problems and controversies in surgical pathology using a case study format and will be of interest to general surgical pathologists and trainees in pathology.
